Vision Inspection for Automotive Tier-1 Suppliers
Deploy 100% in-process inspection at stamping, casting, coating, and assembly cells. IATF 16949 documentation package included. Designed for Ann Arbor and Detroit-area production environments.
Business Case
The cost of a quality escape to your OEM customer.
Compliance Alignment
Aligned with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
IATF 16949 §8.5.1
In-process inspection records satisfy §8.5.1 production and service provision requirements. Timestamped, serialized, shift-tagged records stored in audit-ready format.
APQP Control Plan Integration
Qcvisionly's defect taxonomy and tolerance library is structured to match APQP control plan vocabulary. No translation layer between your control plan and the inspection configuration.
PPAP Validation Support
First Article Inspection mode generates the Dimensional Results Report (DRR) and measurement system analysis data required for AIAG PPAP Level 3 submission.
IQ/OQ/PQ Documentation
Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification protocols are delivered with every deployment. Your IATF internal audit team has the documentation on day one of production.
MSA Gauge R&R
Pilot scope includes a measurement system analysis study comparing Qcvisionly output against your existing CMM and attribute gauges. Gauge correlation documented in IQ/OQ/PQ package.
SPC Capability Reporting
Cpk and Ppk computed per inspection cycle, output to SPC historian. Control chart data feed available to your QMS or MES system via OPC UA.
Pilot Process
How a Qcvisionly pilot works at your facility.
Technical review call (45 min)
Priscilla or Dev reviews your inspection cell, part geometry, and control plan defect classes. We determine if Qcvisionly is the right fit before committing to a pilot agreement.
Pilot agreement scoped (1–2 weeks)
We scope a 60–90 day pilot at a single inspection cell, including camera hardware, calibration, and IATF documentation deliverables. Pilot is structured as a paid engagement — not a free trial.
Deployment and validation (Week 1–4)
Camera cell installed, calibrated, and validated against your production parts. IQ/OQ/PQ documentation completed and delivered to your quality team.
Production pilot run (Week 5–end)
100% in-process inspection runs on your production line. SPC data accumulates. Weekly review calls with your quality engineer to review detection rates and classification accuracy.
Field Evidence
What quality engineers say.
We passed our OEM supplier audit on first attempt after deploying the weld inspection cell. The IATF documentation package was audit-ready the day we went live.
The surface finish measurement at line speed solved a problem we had been trying to address with tactile gauges for two years. Ra readings are within 5% of CMM lab values.
